In my opinion, the best bookstore anywhere. Lemony Snicket was in line behind us when paid for eight or nine books that we discovered thanks to the always-excellent staff recommendations.

Genki Crepes, with obligatory overpriced Japanese gewgaw purchase.

The line was out the door and on the counter there were a half dozen recent articles from regional magazines about the turkey sandwiches at the Arguello Super. The secret's out, I guess. How lucky were we to live within a block of this? Dutch Crunch, mayo, no mustard, extra pickles.
We took our turkey sandwiches up into Golden Gate Park for a picnic.
